Melody's Adventure 2 is a rhythm-platformer hybrid: 32 designed levels where movement abilities are music-powered, and jumps landed on the beat carry further than jumps landed off it. Enemies and hidden paths are placed against the soundtrack, so replaying a level with better beat-sense literally opens routes you missed. The platforming fundamentals are conventional on purpose — run, jump, time your moves — which lets the musical layer be the actual difficulty curve. Early levels play fine ignoring the rhythm; later ones quietly stop forgiving it. With a defined level count and secrets to backtrack for, this is the most "game-shaped" pick on our music shelf: progression, completion, and a soundtrack that functions as a mechanic.
