Robot Band

Robot Band turns a troop of robots into the instruments themselves: tap the touch-sensitive parts of each machine and drag interactive sliders, and the techno track reshapes around what you touched. The stage is a stylised corner of Rome's Trastevere district, and the whole thing runs in the browser with nothing to install. There is no fail state, no score pressure and no timer — this is a composition toy rather than a challenge, and that is exactly its appeal. The skill that develops is listening: which robot part adds which layer, what drops out when you ease a slider, and how two changes interact. Dynamic visuals react to the mix, so the band visibly plays what you built. If you come from character-based mixing games, the mental model carries straight over — assign, listen, adjust, layer. Sessions can be two minutes or twenty; the track only ends when you stop poking the band.
