Because the game’s tick rate affects placement rhythm, success depends not only on noticing a possible group of three, but also on choosing when to commit before the stack becomes less manageable. A careful approach often works better than taking the first available score. Holding a match for a stronger setup can create cleaner options when the board height is still under control.
