Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-04-23
This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. It reflects our obligations under the EU GDPR, California CCPA/CPRA, and the 2026 COPPA Rule (effective 22 April 2026).
1. Who We Are
Doodoo LTD operates DooDoo.Love, a free HTML5 browser-game portal. For any privacy-related question you can reach us at [email protected]. Our Editor-in-Chief, Steuber Alberto, oversees published content and can be reached at [email protected].
2. What Data We Collect
Collected Automatically
When you browse DooDoo.Love, standard web logs and analytics may record:
- IP address (truncated for analytics)
- User-agent and device type
- Click events, page views, and time on page
- Referring URL or search query that brought you here
- In-site search terms you type
Provided Voluntarily
DooDoo.Love does not require an account. We do not ask for your name, email, or any profile information to play games. If you email us, we will only use your message to respond to you.
Cookies & Similar Technologies
We use three categories of cookies: (1) essential cookies required for the site to function, (2) analytics cookies set by Google Analytics 4, and (3) advertising cookies set by Google AdSense. Analytics is enabled by default for first-party, anonymous traffic measurement and you can opt out at any time. Advertising and AI-training cookies require your explicit opt-in.
3. Why We Collect It
We process this limited data for three purposes only:
- Traffic measurement โ understanding which games and articles are popular so we can improve the catalogue
- Ad relevance โ helping our advertising partner show less repetitive, more appropriate ads
- Site improvement โ fixing broken games, debugging performance issues, and detecting abuse
4. Third-Party Services
The following providers process data on our behalf or alongside us when you use DooDoo.Love. Each link points to that provider's own privacy notice.
- Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-M4JQ5Q5DRZ) โ anonymous traffic analytics. Google Privacy Policy
- Google AdSense (publisher ID ca-pub-2608197416161068) โ contextual and, with your consent, personalised advertising. Google Ads Privacy & Terms
- GameMonetize and Y8 โ third-party iframes that deliver the actual games. Once you launch a game, that provider may set its own cookies inside the iframe under its own privacy policy. GameMonetize Privacy Policy / Y8 Privacy Policy
5. Cookie Consent & Your Choices
DooDoo.Love uses a separated consent banner with three independent controls. Analytics is on by default for first-party, anonymous traffic measurement (no ad targeting, no cross-site tracking) and you can disable it at any time. Advertising and AI-training are off by default โ nothing in those categories runs until you explicitly enable it.
- Analytics โ allows Google Analytics 4 to record anonymous usage data.
- Advertising โ allows Google AdSense to use cookies for personalised ads. If disabled, you will still see contextual (non-personalised) ads.
- AI Training / Data Sharing โ allows aggregated, non-personal usage signals to be shared with AI research partners. Off by default; we never share children's data regardless of this setting.
Until you interact with the banner, only first-party analytics is active (analytics_storage='granted'). Advertising and AI-training categories remain denied (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization='denied'). You can change any of these at any time on the Cookie Preferences page.
You can review or change your choices at any time on our Cookie Preferences page. Your choice is stored locally in your browser under the key ddl-consent-v2 and is never tied to an identity.
6. Children's Privacy (COPPA 2.0)
DooDoo.Love is not directed at children under 13. Our games are rated general-audience, but the site, its advertising, and its analytics are designed for teen and adult players.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We do not require an account, ask for a name, email, age, or location, and we do not build behavioural profiles.
In line with the 2026 COPPA Rule (effective 22 April 2026), we treat separate verifiable parental consent as required before any targeted advertising, data sharing, or AI training would involve a known child โ and we therefore simply do not engage in those activities for users who may be under 13.
If we learn that we have inadvertently received information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly from our systems and instruct our processors to do the same.
Parents or guardians who believe their child has provided personal information can contact our Editor-in-Chief at [email protected] and we will act within 10 business days.
7. AI & Automated Content
A portion of our game descriptions (roughly 500 of our 1,000+ entries) were first drafted by GPT-4.1-mini to cover the long tail of our catalogue efficiently.
Every AI-drafted description is reviewed, fact-checked, and edited by our Editor-in-Chief, Steuber Alberto, before it is published. Nothing ships unedited.
Our pillar articles and editorial guides are 100% human-written by named contributors. AI is not used to generate opinion, reviews, or editorial rankings.
Your searches, clicks, and play history are NOT shared with third-party AI training partners unless you explicitly enable the "AI Training" toggle in the consent banner. Even then, only aggregated, non-identifying signals are shared โ never raw logs or IP addresses.
8. AI Crawlers
Our robots.txt allows GPTBot, ClaudeBot, Google-Extended, PerplexityBot, and other well-behaved AI crawlers to index our public pages. We accept that our published content may appear in AI search engines and answer engines, because discoverability helps readers find us. This crawler access covers only pages that are already public on the web โ it does not grant access to logs, consent states, or any user data.
9. Your Rights (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA)
Depending on where you live, you have the right to:
- Access โ request a copy of any data we hold that is linked to you
- Deletion โ ask us to erase that data
- Opt-out โ refuse personalised advertising, analytics, or the sale/sharing of personal information (California residents may use the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" option in our cookie preferences)
Because we do not operate user accounts, we typically have nothing tied to your identity. To exercise any right, email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.
10. Data Retention
Anonymous Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months, matching the GA4 default, after which it is automatically deleted. Server access logs are kept for up to 30 days for security and debugging, then rotated out. Your consent choice in ddl-consent-v2 lives in your own browser until you clear it.
11. Updates to This Policy
When we materially change this Privacy Policy we update the "Last updated" date at the top of the page and re-display the consent banner so returning visitors can review and reconfirm their choices. Minor editorial fixes do not trigger a re-prompt.
