Helifight

Helifight is a minimalist pixel-art duel built around two tiny helicopters, one blue and one red, struggling for control of the air. One helicopter is controlled by the player and the other by a friend, making the match a direct two-player contest rather than a solo score chase. The objective is simple and concrete: collect the rocket symbol that appears in the air, then use rocket fire to hit the enemy helicopter. The match is decided by the five-shot win condition, so every successful attack moves a player closer to ending the round. The game’s simplicity gives the duel its tension. Because rockets must be collected before they can decide the fight, positioning matters as much as firing. Chasing a rocket symbol too aggressively can leave a helicopter exposed, while hanging back may allow the opponent to arm first. The blue-versus-red setup keeps the action readable, and the small-scale aerial conflict favors careful movement, timing, and awareness of where the next rocket opportunity appears. A useful approach is to avoid treating every rocket symbol as safe. Control space first, then collect when the opponent is less able to punish the move.
