Lazy Orcs

Set against a whimsical fantasy backdrop, Lazy Orcs frames its challenge around an unusually comic management problem: the kingdom needs enough money to build a castle, but the workers are orcs who would rather stay idle. The player’s objective is clear from the start: get the orcs working so the king can gather the funds needed for construction. The twist is that the king is lazy too, and he does not want to force the orcs into labor. That premise gives the game its central tension, turning a simple money-making goal into a light strategy puzzle about motivation, pressure, and timing. Rather than presenting the king as a commanding ruler, the setup makes him part of the problem, which gives the resource-management layer a playful edge. The most useful way to read the game is as a test of nudging reluctant workers toward productivity.
