Memory Lane

Memory Lane builds each level around a clear objective: reach the Goal Platform without falling or touching enemies. Every stage begins with a short reveal phase in which all platforms are visible, movement is disabled, and the layout can be studied. That preview is not just decoration; it is the main source of information about paths, traps, pickups, and enemy positions before the level hides much of its structure. Once the action phase begins, the memory-phase platforms turn invisible unless they are specifically marked to remain visible. Navigation then depends on recalling the earlier layout while reacting in real time. Touching a hidden platform reveals it permanently, which gives the platforming a tactical edge: careful movement can create known safe routes, while rushed jumps risk losing track of where solid ground actually is. The strongest tension comes from that shift between observation and execution. The game asks for spatial memory first, then reflex-based precision under uncertainty. Players who slow down during the reveal phase and mentally separate safe routes from trap-heavy areas will have a clearer plan once the platforms disappear.
