The tension comes from how fragile each collection run can be. An enemy carrying more planks can knock the player over on contact, wiping out the entire stack already gathered. The same rule can be turned back against opponents, so gathering a larger supply is both a construction tool and a way to gain an advantage in direct clashes. That simple rule gives each round a readable risk-reward rhythm. Chasing every plank may create a stronger position, but running into a better-stocked enemy can erase progress instantly. Safer movement, careful timing around rivals, and choosing when to challenge another builder matter as much as raw collection speed.
