Word Blocks

Word Blocks turns the idea of words as building blocks of expression into a spatial vocabulary puzzle. Instead of treating spelling as a simple check, it asks players to arrange lettered blocks into valid words while time pressure makes each placement feel consequential. The challenge comes from limited space as much as recognition: a strong word can still be a poor choice if it leaves awkward gaps or blocks future options. The steadier strategy is to keep formations compact and dense rather than spreading letters too far across the board. Preserving open space gives later blocks more flexibility, and shared letters can make new words easier to connect without wasting room. Rushed placement matters because the puzzle rewards anticipation as well as vocabulary. Quick word recognition helps, but the better habit is planning several moves ahead, watching how each block may affect the layout once the board starts to fill.
