Grid Drifter

Grid Drifter turns a simple parking-lot task into a compact test of positioning. The goal is to drive the truck through the lot using the specified coordinates while staying clear of other cars. Because movement is built around left and right steering rather than a long list of commands, the challenge comes from reading space early and correcting the truck before a poor line becomes dangerous. The control scheme is concrete and easy to parse: arrow keys work, A and D work, and phone players can steer by touching the left or right side of the screen. That makes the game well suited to short browser sessions on either keyboard or touchscreen, with the main demand placed on timing rather than memorizing inputs. Strong play depends on restraint. Overcorrecting from side to side can make the truck harder to place, while measured lateral inputs help keep its path aligned with the target coordinates. The most useful habit is to watch the surrounding cars before committing to a lane change, then steer early enough that the truck settles into position instead of needing a last-second correction.
