The Maze

The Maze is a neon arcade chase game built around quick reflexes, sharp turns, and clean route choices. Each level asks the player to move through the glowing maze, collect all three Stars, gather the small pink energy nodes for a higher score, and reach the green Exit Portal before the hunters catch them. The rule set is easy to understand, but the pressure rises as every detour for Stars or nodes gives the chase more time to close in. Better runs come from thinking a few moves ahead instead of simply reacting to the nearest threat. Learning the maze layout can make the objective clearer, while the hunters still force constant adjustment when a safer path conflicts with full collection. The tension comes from deciding when to sweep up remaining nodes and when to commit to the Exit Portal, giving each escape a simple but urgent arcade rhythm.
