Mahjong Chains

Mahjong Chains keeps its focus on classic connect puzzle rules: find identical mahjong stones, link them, and remove them from the board. The central restriction is clear and demanding — only pairs that can be connected with no more than three straight lines are cleared. That single rule gives the board its tactical shape, since an obvious match is not always legal if the route bends too often or is blocked by the current layout. The game includes two modes, normal and relaxed. The normal mode uses time pressure, turning each decision into a balance between speed and careful route checking. Relaxed mode is easier, removes the timer, and uses endless levels, making it better suited to slower planning without losing the same connection logic. A useful approach is to look beyond the first available pair. Preserving certain stones can open later paths under the three-line limit, while clearing too quickly may close off cleaner routes. The best play comes from reading the board as a changing network rather than simply removing every visible match.
