Spirit Boy

Spirit Boy is a puzzle adventure built around switching between a human boy and a ghostly soul. Each level asks the player to move through deadly traps, use the spectral form to float past spikes, and then return to human form before reaching the exit door. That objective gives the transformation a clear cost: the ghost state helps with danger and hidden areas, but finishing still depends on becoming human again at the right moment. The strongest tension comes from treating the ghost form as more than a panic button. Spikes and traps punish careless movement, while hidden routes encourage measured exploration. Because the boy has three lives, every risky approach carries weight, and a safe-looking shortcut can still be wasteful if it leaves him poorly positioned for the exit. Careful players should focus on timing the return to human form near the final approach. Using the ghostly soul to scout or bypass hazards is useful, but the level is only complete once the boy reaches the exit door in human form.
