Each time the ball hits the platform, it accelerates, so a return that feels safe early in a rally can become much harder to cover moments later. The core objective is direct: keep catching the ball, because a missed return gives the opponent a point. That rising speed makes positioning more important than constant chasing. Careful platform placement helps preserve control as the rally tightens, while overcommitting can leave too much space open for the next rebound. The game rewards anticipation, especially once the ball has built enough velocity that late reactions are no longer reliable. A useful approach is to treat each contact as preparation for the next one rather than a single isolated save. Watching how quickly the ball speeds up after platform hits helps players adjust earlier, stay centered when possible, and reduce the risk of handing points away through small misjudgments.
