Ghost Shift

Ghost Shift is an endless runner built around a clear two-state survival rule: Human mode and Ghost mode do not treat obstacles the same way. The player clicks or taps to jump, then uses the Switch button to toggle between forms as hazards appear. In Human mode, red blocks are deadly while blue barriers can be passed through safely. In Ghost mode, that relationship reverses: blue barriers kill, while red blocks are safe to phase through. That simple color logic gives the game its main tension. Success depends less on reacting to every object in isolation and more on reading the next obstacle color before committing to a mode change. Switching too early can be just as risky as switching too late, so rhythm and deliberate timing matter alongside quick reflexes. The rules are easy to understand, but the constant need to reassess the active form keeps the run from becoming pure pattern repetition. Coins add a cosmetic goal by unlocking skins, giving players a reason to chase pickups while still respecting the survival focus. Shields offer temporary protection, creating brief relief without removing the need to manage Human and Ghost states carefully.
