Holiday Hex Sort

Holiday Hex Sort is a tile-matching puzzle built around drag-and-drop placement on a hexagonal board. Players move hex tile stacks onto the board, merge matching tiles, and collect a stack once it contains 10 similar tiles. The main objective is clear: remove all tiles by building stacks of 10 before the timer runs out. The challenge comes from managing space as much as chasing matches. As levels progress, more tile types appear, so each placement has to account for both the current stack and the tiles that may complicate the board soon after. Overcommitting to one tall stack can make the layout harder to manage, while spreading attention across several developing stacks keeps more options open under time pressure. Holiday Hex Sort works best as a compact test of puzzle efficiency: read the board, place with intent, and avoid letting mixed tile types clog valuable space. A practical approach is to create multiple mid-sized matching stacks, then finish them into groups of 10 when the board position supports it.
