Pixel Run

Pixel Run builds its runner out of hundreds of loose beads, then makes that construction the entire stake. The doll only moves while you hold the input down, and every red block on the white ribbon of track charges its toll in beads: graze a cube's edge and a few dozen spheres rattle off your legs, meet one square-on and the whole figure bursts, scattering across the course, run over on the spot. Proportional damage is what keeps runs interesting. Because losses scale with how much of you touches the obstacle, the rewarding line is never the safe middle — it is the shave, passing close enough to keep pace without paying mass. The track is a narrow elevated ribbon with staggered cubes and full-width red strips, so lateral room shrinks exactly where you want it most. On later attempts, steer a beat before each obstacle rather than at it: the doll's turning arc runs wider than it reads, and late corrections are where most beads go.
