platfoban builds its puzzle-platforming around a clear objective: collect every coin in each level. The twist is that play shifts between two modes. In platforming mode, the main character can run and jump, and chests stay asleep, turning them into usable platforms for navigation. In sokoban mode, the focus changes to moving blocks, coins, and other objects, but that extra control comes with danger: chests wake up as monsters, then attack and chase the character. That mode switch gives the game its tension. A safe route in platforming mode can become risky once the same chest becomes an active threat in sokoban mode. The best moments come from reading objects in two ways at once: a chest may be a stepping stone now, but a pursuer later; a block may be an obstacle, but also a way to shape space and control enemy movement. The coin-collection goal stays simple, while the route planning becomes more demanding as each mode changes what the player can safely do. Expert Tip: In sokoban mode, think about where awakened chests will move before shifting objects around. Placing blocks to limit a monster’s path can create the safer opening needed to return to platforming movement and reach the remaining coins.
